CISCE Class 12 2022 results: Girls outperform boys by a small margin

On July 24, Sunday, the Council of Indian Schools Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the results of the ISC Class 12 Board Examination. The results showed that the girls outperformed the boys by a small margin. The pass rate in the exams stood at 99.52 percent, with girls outperforming boys by a very small margin, officials said.

The success rate for girls was 99.52% while it was 99.26% for boys. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 is 99.38%.

Candidates who have taken the exam can access their scorecards from the official cisce.org website, results.cisce.org. The pass rate in the exams stood at 99.52 percent, with girls outperforming boys by a very small margin, officials said.

Initially, the jury had organized the examinations in two quarters. Semester 2 exams for class 12 started on April 26 and will continue until June 13, 2022.

The council official also announced that eighteen candidates shared first place in the CISCE Class 12 exam with a score of 99.75%. The second place was shared by 58 candidates who obtained a score of 99.50% while 78 candidates obtained a score of 99.25% to share the third place.

Explaining the formula for calculating the results, council secretary Gerry Arathoon said first semester grades for every subject have been halved except for subjects like geometry, mechanical drawing and art.

“These grades were then added to the second semester and the practical/project grades to arrive at the final grades in each subject,” he added.
