HGTV’s new home improvement show, “Fix My Flip,” begins with a conceit we all know: a seasoned realtor comes to the aid of home improvement enthusiasts who are in over their heads. But, as the show progresses, a “Shark Tank”-like element spices up the plot before the remodeling even begins: the host, page turner, offers pinball machines an additional cash investment towards their renovation budget, in exchange for a percentage of the home’s final sale price. Do the pinball machines decide to accept the deal or do they renegotiate? It’s this kind of out-of-the-box concept that drew us to “Fix My Flip” and why we were so excited to talk to Turner, who is also the show’s executive producer.

(She’s not the only one !)
