KUDA Develops Another Mega Layout at Unikicherla Under GWMC Limits

Hanamconda: Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) is developing another mega layout on 130 acres in a phased manner in Unikicherla village of Dharmasagar mandal in the district near Outer Ring Road (ORR) (bypass road) considering demand for house plots under the KUDA limits.

Speaking to ‘Telangana Today’, a senior KUDA officer said they had acquired the land on both sides of the Hanamkonda-Dharmasagar road and were leveling the land to develop the route.

“In a first phase, we plan to develop the plots into 25 to 30 acres. We successfully developed O town in Warangal and “Maa” town in Madipally village, and got huge response from people. We are confident that we are also getting a good response from people who want to own land or invest in the land due to the high demand for land near Warangal town,” he said and added that the upset price would be around Rs. 15,000 per meter at the new venture at Unikicherla. He said it would take another two or three months to go to the open auction of the plots after developing the roads and other infrastructure. “Since KUDA is a government agency and only gives approval for layouts, we follow the rules and regulations of layouts without any deviation. So people can buy our plots with any trepidation,” he said.

KUDA is already developing Maa Town in Madipally on 180 acres of land in a step-by-step manner. KUDA first developed the ‘O’ town spanning 120 acres of the land of the former Azam Jahi Mills, right next to Warangal Railway Station. She also developed and sold the apartments by constructing a residential apartment at Ambedkar Bhavan in Hanamkonda on 1.12 acres of land.
